Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner praises genocidal maniac Christopher Columbus as a "role model"

This afternoon on Indigenous Peoples Day (aka Columbus Day), Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner (R) posted to Twitter on his Gubernatorial account praising the genocidalmaniacChristopher Columbus as a “role model.” 

Columbus was anything but a role model in his actions. In fact, his holiday ought to be abolished in favor of Indigenous Peoples Day. 

Gov. Rauner, you are a disgrace to Illinois and the indigenous peoples for endorsing the genocidal maniac as a “role model”!!

This is yet another reason to vote for J.B. Pritzker!
